The school uniform colours are green and black.
Students are expected to wear the school uniform every day. Uniforms help to establish a strong school unity and give students a sense of pride. Uniforms are available to purchase from Lowes Department Store at Central Shopping Centre in Gympie. Please see our Uniform Policy, which also includes our Sunsmart Policy.
It is a part of Jones Hill State School's policy that students wear school uniform at all times. Variations will occur during special occasions e.g. swimming carnivals and free dress days. However all students will be required to wear sun safe clothing whenever out of their uniform.
It is an expectation that students wear the school uniform with suitable footwear and a hat if they wish to participate in outdoor activities.
When the children leave the school on excursions, they are expected to wear the uniform. A school uniform makes it easier for school staff to identify students belonging to our school.
The wearing of jewellery, other than legitimate medical or religious significance, studs or sleepers for pierced ears will not be permitted.
